MikeyD had another busy day with Speech therapist, occupational therapist and Physical therapist.
unfortunately no more words have been spoken since he said "I want to get out".
Dr, Vetter just left the room a few minutes ago and the Surgery to install the Defibrillator may be delayed we will let everyone know as soon as we know. I imagine the weekend will be quiet and slow so the post will be short, we know for sure that we are in the best Hospital we could be in, here at CHOP and we are sure they will make the right decision on when to do the surgery. In an earlier post we asked everyone who has kids playing sports to get a simple EKG that would be great a simple test could help a lot of kids, as it turns out it would not have helped MikeyD because they still have not found anything wrong with his heart and all his EKG's are good but from being here and meeting a lot of people I know it has saved a lot of kids. Also if anyone knows of anyone who has a child with any kind of cardio issues I would highly recommend you give them the name of Dr Vetter at CHOP and they can call her and set an appointment just say you are a friend of MikeyD. Lord God we Praise Your Holy Name and we thank you today for ALL you have given us..especially the gift of Faith..we stand here together..believing you are the Healer and we pray for MikeyD Please restore him to perfect health...please give him the use of his arms hands and speech..You said whereever 2 or more are gathered in your name..you said ask and you shall receive..we believe You are the Healer..Please Lord we are all here praying for MikeyD We ask MikeyDs guardian angel and all the angels and Saints to intercede here and to take up our prayers to our Heavenly Fathers throne and we ask this in Your Son our Brother our Lord and our Saviors name JESUS Please Lord Heal MikeyD..We Thank You Lord God!
